“Huong “Mindy” Hoang, MD, is a board-certified family physician and devoted to the wellbeing of her patients. She approaches care with the “Patients First” motto.
The oldest of four children, Dr. Hoang’s passion for medicine began at age 14 when her mother passed away during their journey to the United States from Vietnam to get treatment. To honor her mother’s wishes, Dr. Hoang worked hard in school while caring for her younger siblings. She graduated from Austin College in Sherman, Texas, in 1992 before earning her medical degree from the prestigious Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, in 1996. She completed her family medicine residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas, in 2000. Dr. Hoang is a member of the Harris County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).
Dr. Hoang enjoys spending time with her husband, a former Marine. She also loves reading, crafting, and growing orchids.”
