Dr. Dona Poulose is board-certified in rheumatology and internal medicine. She completed her fellowship at University of Texas Medical Branch and served as the chief rheumatology fellow during her training. She is a member of the American College of Rheumatology. She has clinical experience in treating multiple autoimmune diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout, lupus, scleroderma, and Sjogrens. Dr. Poulose was born and raised in New York. There, she attended SUNY Binghamton and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Neuroscience. She later attended medical school at St. George’s University. She completed her internal medicine residency in her hometown of Staten Island. Outside of medicine, Dr. Poulose enjoys spending time with her husband and children.
