Dr. Carnai Simpson, MD

Carnai Simpson (pronounced “Car nay / Simp son”), MD, began practicing medicine in 2018. She enjoys caring for the entire Family. Her clinical interests include Geriatric Medicine, Women’s Health, and Preventive Medicine. Dr. Simpson earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from High Point University in High Point, NC, with a Biology major and minors in both Chemistry and Spanish. She completed medical school at the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. In addition to being board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), Dr. Simpson holds a certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS). She is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and the Texas Medical Association (TMA). When she is not helping patients, Dr. Simpson enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys traveling, golfing and bicycling.
