Dr. Arindam Bandyopadhyay is a highly trained and vastly experienced, Board Certified Endocrinologist and Diabetes specialist.
A medical graduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD) from Medical College, Kolkata University, India, Dr. Bandyopadhyay, further trained in Internal Medicine from University of Miami/ Jackson Memorial Hospital, Florida and sub-specialized in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism from State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo, NY.
He was an Assistant Professor at SUNY, Buffalo and later the Program Director of Endocrinology Program, SUNY Buffalo, He cherished his involvement in teaching, research, publications and administrative works, besides seeing patients.
Dr. Bandyopadhyay did his initial Board certification in Endocrinology and Diabetes in 1997 and was re-certified in 2006 and 2017. Dr. Bandyopadhyay is a Fellow of The American College of Endocrinology (FACE).
In 2005, he moved to Houston to establish his own Endocrinology and Diabetes practice at the West Houston Diabetes Endocrinology Center and later Sugarland Diabetes Center. He has been a Consultant Endocrinologist in multiple Houston and Sugar Land area Hospitals, including Methodist, Memorial Hermann and CHI St Luke’s.
He moved to New Braunfels and has been affiliated as an Endocrinologist, with Pak Medical Group/ lnnovacare since 2022 and is now with Genesis Medical Group.
Dr. Bandyopadhyay is proud to have chosen the field of Endocrinology / Diabetes as his career and believes that it is a fascinating and stimulating branch of Medicine, that has so much to offer to so many patients.
