Dr. Sanjay Mehta, MD, DABR is a highly experienced, board-certified radiation oncologist with more than 20 years of expertise in delivering advanced, patient-centered cancer care. As President of Houston Radiation, PLLC and a practicing physician at Genesis Radiation Therapy Centers, Dr. Mehta is dedicated to providing cutting-edge radiation therapy tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
Dr. Mehta earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed his Radiation Oncology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch, where he was selected as Chief Resident. Over the course of his career, he has treated more than 9,000 patients and has extensive experience in advanced technologies such as IMRT, IGRT, stereotactic radiosurgery, and brachytherapy.
In addition to his work in oncology, Dr. Mehta is at the forefront of using low-dose radiation therapy to treat benign conditions such as osteoarthritis, tendonitis, and plantar fasciitis offering innovative, non-surgical options for pain relief.
