Amanda Mims is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Amanda spent 10 years practicing as a nurse in the Texas Medical Center specializing in the care of the critically ill cardiac population and post-surgical urology population.
Amanda then went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing at The University of Texas at Houston. She is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She values providing quality, compassionate care to her patients.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and dog. She enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, exercise, and sports.
