Dr. M. Ryan Kozak is a board-certified pediatrician who brings 23 years of medical experience to our growing pediatrics department. Dr. Kozak grew up right here in The Woodlands, TX and graduated J.L. McCullough High School (yes, it used to be THE high school in The Woodlands) in 1993 followed by Texas Christian University in 1997, with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Minor in Spanish, along with quite a few classes in piano and voice/choir. He obtained his M.D. from University of Texas Medical Branch,
Galveston in 2001 and completed his Pediatric Internship and Residency at Texas A&M Health Science Center at Scott and White Hospital in 2004. He promptly moved back to The Woodlands to start serving his hometown’s parents and children. Over the last 20 years, Dr. Kozak has provided pediatric care to hundreds of families within The Woodlands community before joining our team.
In his free time Dr. Kozak enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, barbecuing on his Big Green Egg, and playing Dungeons and Dragons. He watches too much anime (sometimes even with his kids), not enough sci-fi, and absolutely no horror. He would like to play more video games, but he’s picky and only plays the games that take too much time! If you’re out enjoying the hike and bike paths you might encounter him there too, walking his cocker spaniel, Truffle.
Dr. Kozak loves being a community-based pediatrician, and looks forward to supporting your family and providing your children’s care as they grow.
