Tamaura Baughman, MSN, APRN, FNP-C. Tamaura Baughman is an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner and Primary Care Provider at Genesis Medical Group – Kingwood. Originally from the Chicago area, Tamaura relocated with her spouse and children to the Houston area in 1995. She began her career as a registered nurse in 2006 after earning an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing degree from Montgomery College in Conroe, Texas. In 2009, she graduated with honors from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She graduated in the top 10 percent of her class with a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Texas Woman’s University and has worked as a Primary Care Provider since becoming a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2015.Nurse Practitioner Baughman believes in empowering patients through education and that the most effective healthcare results from a close partnership between an individual and their provider. She provides a variety of health care services including diagnosis and management of acute, chronic, and complex health problems, health promotion, disease prevention, and health education to individuals aged 13 years and older.
