Re-Opening of Genesis Medical Group Clinics

Genesis Medical Group Clinics

As you may already know, Genesis Medical Group reopened our clinics on May 4, 2020. Please be assured that before reopening, Genesis Medical Group went through the painstaking process of preparing our locations and staff members to reopen safely, in accordance with CDC guidelines and local health authorities.

As part of this process, we are asking patients to exercise caution both inside our clinics and in the community by practicing social distancing, by wearing a mask in public, and by washing their hands frequently. Likewise, Genesis Medical Group is taking every precaution to protect our patients and personnel from the dangers of COVID-19.

We remain hyper-vigilant to clinic cleanliness and personal hygiene. While maintaining a sterile environment inside our clinics is always a priority, Genesis Medical Group is going beyond what is required to protect our patients asbest as possible. That includes wiping down all surfaces that come into frequent contact with people and sanitizing rooms and equipment between patients.

To that end, we are asking anyone who is ill with COVID-19, or unsure if they have been exposed to COVID-19, or experiencing negative upper respiratory symptoms to avoid arriving at our offices in person. Instead, please call our office so we can advise you by phone on the appropriate next steps to take and prescribe medications to you if necessary. Please note that either before or after completing these steps, if you think you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, or are exhibiting symptoms and have been to a high-risk area(either in the U.S. or overseas),please call us to discuss how you should proceed.

The main symptoms of the novel coronavirus are:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

We recognize that this is an alarming and stressful time for everyone. However, we believe the situation will improve as we continue learning more about the novel coronavirus and its effects. In the meantime, until the uncertainty recedes, Genesis Medical Group is here for you, our valued patient, andwe look forward to once again providing high-quality care as we always have.

Sincerely,

Genesis Medical Group
